What does it cost?
A fixed management fee for holding the move, agreed before we start. The shipper's invoice, the storage, the insurance premium & any customs charges are separate and billed at what they cost, with the quotes shown to you before you pick one. Nothing we earn moves with the size of your shipment.
Which countries do you move from?
Effectively anywhere. We work with international shippers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. Tell us the origin city and a rough volume, and you'll get a realistic transit time and the customs route before you commit to anything. Origin drives the paperwork more than the distance does.
How do customs and duty work when I bring my things to Germany?
If you're moving your main residence to Germany, used household goods generally enter free of customs duty and import VAT as Übersiedlungsgut, the transfer-of-residence relief. It's claimed on German customs form 0350 with proof that you're relocating and that the goods are yours and previously used. New purchases, alcohol and tobacco, and vehicles follow different rules, which we flag before anything is packed.
Can you handle art, a piano, wine or a collection?
Yes. Specialist crews crate fine art, pianos and antiques to measure, wine travels under temperature control with its own documentation, and each of those pieces is packed, tracked, insured and placed apart from the general shipment. They also change the insurance conversation, so we itemise them at the inventory stage.
What if my flat isn't ready when the shipment arrives?
Insured interim storage bridges the gap, and we release the goods for delivery the moment the handover is confirmed. Long-haul sea freight has a wide arrival window by nature, so the storage line sits in the plan from the start rather than being improvised at the port.
Is my shipment insured?
Yes. We arrange transit cover at a replacement value agreed with you up front, with high-value pieces itemised, instead of a nominal per-kilo figure that never makes anyone whole. The valuation, the exclusions and the claims route are all explained before the shipment leaves.
Can you move a car or a motorbike?
Vehicles travel under their own rules and are quoted separately from household goods. Registration in Germany, the technical inspection and any emissions requirement follow after arrival, and they take longer than people expect. We flag the sequence early so the car doesn't land before the paperwork that lets you drive it.
